Final examination was held and now students are waiting for the result. Just like what i felt when I was still in senior high school, I was really afraid at that time that I could not pass the examination. With the high scores and many things that really make me down. Sometimes I thought final examination was really not effective and seems useless. Why I said so? Coz if we want to open our mind and never deny about what really happen. we will see many bad effect from it. Final examination is not only about how to pass but it is more than that. Final examination actually has a good purpose to measure students ability. But in fact, the goverment seems force students to reach high scores . They really want the education in Indonesia have a good image. Well, if we are only think about it, it means that increasing the quality of indonesian human will be impossible.
Education is really important thing in our life. We should learn and learn and no matter how old they are if we are talking aboutit . If we think deeply, the main purpose about this will seen clearly. But now, as we can see and know there were many lie things happen. I never want to get someone wrong or some institution why it could happen. When I was watching television I saw the students got the key answers from their teacher. I also ever watched about leaking . And i think it must happen every year. Maybe the teacher as human being feel guilty if their student did not pass the examination so that they help their students. Furthermore if there were many students in their school did not pass it means their school will get a bad image. It seems so complicated right?
On the other hand if from the students side it is really not fair for them if their three years that they spent in school. Of course not only their time but also their money be useless when they know they did not pass. Sometimes students that did not pass are not bad students. They just in a bad condition when they were doing exam. And they must really sad about that. If we see from the pshychology side , they will get depress and maybe they did not want to continue their study anymore.
Final examination spends much money too.
Well actually I am not in opposite side about this because it really our dream to make our country much better than before. With the high quality human sourches, we will build and maintain our country. But the problem is some of us pretend like no problem at all. Use a high standart is okay if it is the real result of student. Maybe it is time for us to think honestly and straightly toaccept what the real fact and fix our education system.

Final Examination?
Political Narcissism
It was only around a month ago, on 9th May 2009, we held the General Election in Indonesia for choosing the Legislative Members. All along the campaign process, a month before the big event, the whole streets were heavily polluted with posters, banners and even paper posters. Each of it contained sweet heavenly promises, God knows if it’s real or not.
Did we even know the candidates? Oh, we did not. Seriously did not. They just appeared out of nowhere, lots of them, like fungus in rainy season. We could not even differentiate which one is edible and which one is deadly. Worse, those funguses had attractive appearances. With different colors and sizes, yet we did not know what it contained.
It’s all the same like those candidates, bathe in hypocrisy, pretending like they’re as white as paper, as holy as saints. Under the power of the media, they created a new image of themselves. Telling venomous lies that they were the protector of the nation, clean from any vile sins. Against corruption. Fighting for the country’s welfare. Yet it was just a clothing of lamb’s fur in getting big fat cash for their lust and the instance of fame.
They worshipped themselves. Strongly believed that they are the right ones for the nation, maybe not even realizing that their own narcissistic side has consumed themselves. Could we even put our faith in these people? We did not even know whether the ones who won at the last election were the right people. God knows. All we know that they’re raised by the media, licking their narcissistic sides.
“Close to the Farmers”?
“Defender of the Weaks”?
“Corruption Fighters”?
“Religious Leader”?
Duh, please…
Apparently they also have James Bond-like candidate:
"Oh, please saves our asses, James Bond-sama!!!" *insert woeful wails here*
Nb: Not all the candidates are like that, so no hard feelings. But still… it’s like searching for needles in the hay.
